JAKARTA (!) – Kepolisian Republik Indonesia (Polri) menggelar Festival Film Polisi (Police Movie Festival) dalam rangka Hari Ulang Tahun Polri ke-72 dengan mengangkat tema menjaga kebhinekaan.
“Temanya unity in diversity, yakni persatuan dalam perbedaan atau persatuan dalam kebhinekaan,” kata Ketua Panitia Festival Film Polisi Ajun Komisaris Polisi Ardila Amry melalui keterangan tertulis di Jakarta, Minggu (2/4).
Melalui dokumentasi sesuai tema besar tersebut, tutur Ardila, masyarakat atau peserta festival film tersebut diharapkan mengetahui dan memahami tugas Polri menjaga persatuan, di tengah sejumlah kejadian yang berkaitan dengan intoleransi, provokasi masalah SARA, dan bentrokan antarwarga.
Humas Festival Film Polisi AKP Hasby Ristama menambahkan rangkaian pendaftaran dan penyerahan dokumentasi dimulai 3 April hingga 1 Juni 2017, sementara penetapan nominasi pada 5 Juni 2017 dan pemenang diumumkan pada 10 Juni 2017. Babak final akan menampilkan 10 film pendek dan tiga film animasi.
Hasby menyatakan panitia tidak akan membatasi jumlah peserta yang mengirimkan dokumentasi. Namun pengirim harus WNI dan mengikuti aturan panitia dengan tema menjaga kebhinekaan.
Dia optimistis pencinta film Indonesia akan mendaftarkan diri pada Festival Film Polisi ke-4 itu mengingat antusiasme pada gelaran tahun-tahun sebelumnya.
Hasby mengingatkan peserta tidak membuat karya film bermuatan SARA, kekerasan dan pornografi. Film diperbolehkan menggunakan musik atau grafis orang lain dengan mengantongi izin dari pemilik hak cipta.
Tim juri akan menilai karya dari tema, keunikan ide dan orisinalitas cerita, aspek teknis penyutradaraan, editing, serta pesan yang disampaikan.
Untuk kategori film pendek (live shot) nuansa Polri berdurasi 5-7 menit dan film animasi selama 3 menit, setiap peserta diperbolehkan maksimal mengirimkan dokumentasi dua film.
