FILIPINA (!)- Gubernur Bank Sentral dan Menteri Keuangan ASEAN menyetujui Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) sebagai alat evaluasi agenda integrasi keuangan kawasan yang tertuang dalam rencana aksi strategis integrasi keuangan 2025.
Dengan adanya KPIs, diharapkan pengukuran kinerja inisiatif integrasi keuangan tidak hanya didasarkan pada pencapaian output dari inisiatif tersebut, namun juga mencakup seberapa besar manfaatnya bagi perekonomian secara keseluruhan. KPIs diharapkan dapat memperkuat pencapaian visi ASEAN 2025 di sektor keuangan.
Gubernur Bank Indonesia, Agus D.W. Martowardojo menyebtutkan gubernur Bank Sentral dan menteri keuangan negara-negara ASEAN sepakat untuk mendorong integrasi keuangan di kawasan, untuk mewujudkan Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA) 2025.
“Untuk itu, akan dilaksanakan implementasi rencana aksi strategis (Strategic Action Plan) dalam rangka mendorong keuangan kawasan yang stabil, terintegrasi, dan inklusif,” kata Agus D.W. Martowardojo, usai menghadiri pertemuan tahunan tingkat Gubernur Bank Sentral dan Menteri Keuangan ASEAN yang dilaksanakan hari ini (07/04) di Cebu, Filipina.
Pertemuan tersebut juga dihadiri oleh lembaga internasional seperti Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF) dan ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO), sebagai partner ASEAN.
Kehadiran lembaga-lembaga tersebut dimaksudkan untuk bertukar pandang terhadap kondisi terkini ekonomi global yang masih diliputi ketidakpastian, baik akibat adanya kecenderungan proteksionisme, risiko geopolitik, maupun perubahan stancekebijakan moneter terutama di negara maju.
Menghadapi kondisi tersebut, Gubernur dan Menteri Keuangan ASEAN tetap berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan perdagangan dan investasi yang lebih erat diantara negara ASEAN.
Koordinasi dan komitmen yang kuat dari seluruh negara ASEAN dan lembaga terkait lainnya diharapkan dapat mendukung pencapaian integrasi keuangan yang stabil dan berkelanjutan, sehingga manfaat integrasi dirasakan secara merata oleh seluruh masyarakat ASEAN.
