Sementara di bursa regional, di antaranya indeks bursa Nikkei turun 89,70 poin (0,45 persen) ke 19.829,37, indeks Hang Seng melemah 2,62 poin (0,01 persen) ke 25.333,32, dan Straits Times melemah 12,29 poin (0,38 persen) posisi 3.215,68.
IHSG BEI dibuka naik 14,48 poin atau 0,26 persen menjadi 5.661,48poin. Sementara itu kelompok 45 saham unggulan atau indeks LQ45 bergerak menguat 3,64 poin (0,39 persen) menjadi 945,80 poin. Sementara itu terpantau, IHSG pada pukul 10.00 WIB IHSG bergerak berbalik arah atau melemah sebesar 33,06 poin (0,59 persen) ke posisi 5.614,32.
“Saham-saham berkapitalisasi besar menjadi incaran investor di tengah sentimen yang bervariasi,” kata analis Binaartha Sekuritas Reza Priyambada di Jakarta, Rabu (17/5).
Reza Priyambada mengatakan bahwa sebagian investor mulai melakukan aksi beli secara selektif pada awal perdagangan pagi ini di tengah pergerakan bursa saham di kawasan Asia yang sedang mengalami tekanan.
Di sisi lain, lanjut Reza, pelaku pasar juga sedang menanti pengumuman peringkat utang Indonesia oleh Standard & Poor`s (S&P). Diharapkan S&P menaikkan peringkat utang Indonesia menjadi layak investasi sehingga dapat menjaga fluktuasi IHSG.
“Situasi itu dapat membatasi investor untuk melakukan transaksi beli yang akhirnya dapat mempengaruhi laju IHSG,” katanya.
Sementara itu,Vice President Research and Analysis Valbury Asia Securities Nico Omer Jonckheere menambahkan bahwa sentimen ekternal terkait geopolitik semenanjung Korea dapat kembali menjadi hambatan bagi laju pergerakan IHSG.
“Geopolitik semenanjung Korea kembali meningkat, AS menambah kapal perangnya setelah Korea Utara menembakan rudal baru,” kata Nico Omer.(antara/arh)
