Nono juga mengutuk keras peristiwa bom buunuh diri di Kampung Melayu. Ia meminta pemerintah mengusut tuntas kasus tersebut.
Ia berharap teror bom bunuh diri ini dapat diusut tuntas karena bukan lagi kriminal biasa, melainkan arahnya sudah jelas yaitu negara. Pasukan antiteror TNI disarankan terlibat dalam menangani kasus-kasus terorisme di Indonesia.
Nono berharap pemerintah beserta DPR RI segera merivisi UU Terorisme, agar pencegahan dini serta tindakan aparat berwajib dapat bekerja maksimal.
“Revisi UU terorisme sedang dilakukan, saya harap UU tersebut kelak bisa mengatur secara komprehensif dan menjangkau tindakan represif serta preventif,” ungkapnya.(bm0)
