Kepala Seksi Lalu Lintas Suku Dinas Perhubungan Jakarta Timur, Andreas Eman mengatakan, uji coba penutupan perlintasan sebidang Kebon Sereh, Pisangan Baru, dilakukan mulai tanggal 26 Mei pukul 24.00 kemarin. Rencananya uji coba akan dilakukan hingga 3 Juli mendatang. Penutupan dilakukan menggunakan beton MCB
“Kita tutup namun ini sifatnya masih uji coba sampai 3 Juli mendatang. Jika efektif maka akan diteruskan,” kata Andreas, Minggu (28/5).
Selama uji coba penutupan pintu perlintasan ini, kendaraan dialihkan ke perlintasan berikutnya di Pasar Enjo yang jaraknya sekitar 300 meter.
“Penutupan perlintasan kereta api ini untuk memberikan keamanan dan kenyamanan pengendara. Karena ini kawasan double-double track,” tandasnya.(arh)
