Petugas BMKG (Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika) menunjuk peta sebaran awan dan potensi hujan hasil penginderaan Satelit Palapa C2 di Laboratorium BMKG, di Serang, Banten, Jumat (02/06). Pihak BMKG merilis potensi kemarau panjang dan kering akibat meningkatnya suhu permukaan laut yang perlu diwaspadai karena bisa berdampak luas dan berpeluang terjadi hingga akhir Oktober 2017.
