JAKARTA (tandaseru.id) – ObraS KaIN PKK edukasi Kader percepat penurunan angka stunting sehingga anak-anak Indonesia dapat tumbuh dan berkembang secara maksimal, Kamis, (13/10).
Stunting menunjukkan kondisi kekurangan gizi kronis yang terjadi dalam jangka waktu panjang. Hal ini terjadi karena asupan makanan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi. Persoalan tersebut menjadi salah satu fokus penanganan pemerintah saat ini.
Demikian disampaikan Ketua IV Bidang Kesehatan Keluarga & Lingkungan, Tim Penggerak Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (TP PKK) Pusat Safriati Safrizal saat mewakili Ketua Umum TP PKK Tri Tito Karnavian membuka Obrolan Santai Kader Inspiratif (ObraS KaIN) PKK.
Safriati berharap, TP PKK yang merupakan mitra pemerintah dapat berkontribusi sebagai Tim Pendamping Keluarga Berisiko Stunting untuk melakukan percepatan penurunan angka stunting. Dia menjelaskan, stunting merupakan kondisi gagal tumbuh pada anak, akibat kekurangan gizi dalam waktu yang lama.
Akibatnya, kondisi badan anak lebih pendek atau perawakan lebih pendek dibanding anak normal seusianya dan memiliki keterlambatan dalam berpikir.
“Stunting dapat kita perbaiki pada 1000 hari pertama kehidupan (HPK) yaitu sejak dalam kandungan dan bayi lahir sampai usia 2 tahun. Inilah masa-masa di mana kita masih bisa melakukan modifikasi dan juga intervensi untuk melakukan upaya-upaya agar anak tidak stunting dan bisa menjadi generasi emas Indonesia tahun 2045,” katanya.
Dalam mengatasi stunting, lanjut Safriati, perlu peran dari semua sektor dan tatanan masyarakat. Pada 1000 HPK kondisi anak harus dijaga baik nutrisi maupun faktor di luar yang mempengaruhi stunting. Karena itu, orang tua perlu memahami berbagai upaya yang perlu dilakukan.
“Karena itu, TP PKK menggelar webinar yang dilaksanakan pada Kamis, 13 Oktober 2022 secara virtual melalui aplikasi zoom meeting, live Instagram di akun tppkkpusat dan juga live streaming di kanal Youtube TP PKK Pusat, merupakan edisi ke-12 di tahun 2022 dari Obras KaIN PKK yang dikupas secara inspiratif dan bermanfaat dengan tema ‘Pentingnya 1000 Hari Pertama Kehidupan Untuk Cegah Stunting’,” tandas Safriati.
Dirinya berharap, gelaran tersebut dapat menjadi wadah menjalin silaturrahmi, sarana diskusi dan bertukar pikiran antara para kader PKK dalam upaya percepatan penanganan stunting di berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Dengan demikian, nantinya dapat terwujud keluarga Indonesia yang sehat dan sejahtera.
Sementara itu, hadir sebagai narasumber Co-Founder @klinikMPASI dan @ahligiziid Lecturer @gizi.fkmunair Qonita Rachmah. Qonita Rachmah menjelaskan hal-hal seputar persoalan stunting.
Dia menjelaskan, tingkat stunting di Indonesia melampaui batas yang ditetapkan Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO). Menurut dia, kasus stunting banyak ditemukan di daerah dengan kemiskinan tinggi dan tingkat pendidikan yang rendah.
“Pada hari pertama kehidupan tentunya kita harus optimalkan asupan gizi dan upaya-upaya untuk pencegahan penyakit infeksi supaya stunting dapat dihindari,” tutup Qonita.
