JAKARTA (tandaseru.id) – Wakil Menteri Dalam Negeri (Wamendagri) John Wempi Wetipo menekankan bahwa keberhasilan pembangunan nasional tak lepas dari kinerja di tingkat daerah.
Hal itu ditegaskannya saat memberi arahan sekaligus membuka Rapat Koordinasi Teknis Perencanaan Pembangunan (Rakortekrenbang) Tahun 2023 dan Penganugerahan Asosiasi Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika Provinsi Seluruh Indonesia (ASKOMPSI) Digital Leadership Government Award 2022 di Ballrom Flores Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta, Selasa (28/2).
“Hal tersebut sejalan dengan arahan Bapak Presiden bahwa pembangunan tidak lagi terpusat di perkotaan, melainkan harus dilakukan menyebar di seluruh pelosok Indonesia,” ujar Wempi.
Salah satu komitmen pemerintah dalam mendukung pembangunan di daerah yakni dengan membangun Indonesia dari pinggiran melalui penguatan daerah-daerah dan desa dalam kerangka negara kesatuan. Hal ini sejalan dengan Peraturan Presiden (Perpres) Nomor 18 Tahun 2020 tentang Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RPJMN) Tahun 2020-2024.
Dia menjelaskan, sebagaimana amanat Pasal 258 Undang-Undang (UU) Nomor 23 Tahun 2014 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah, pembangunan daerah memiliki beberapa tujuan. Hal itu di antaranya meningkatkan dan memeratakan pendapatan masyarakat; meningkatkan dan memeratakan kesempatan kerja; meningkatkan dan memeratakan lapangan berusaha; meningkatkan dan memeratakan akses maupun kualitas pelayanan publik dan daya saing daerah.
Lebih lanjut Wempi mengatakan, untuk mencapai target pembangunan nasional, diperlukan koordinasi secara efektif antara pemerintah pusat dengan pemerintah daerah (Pemda). Ini untuk menciptakan sinkronisasi dan harmonisasi perencanaan pembangunan dalam rangka mencapai target pembangunan nasional. Karenanya, pencapaian target pembangunan nasional pun harus dilakukan bersama dengan dukungan dan komitmen semua tingkat pemerintahan sesuai kewenangannya.
“Oleh karena itu, pemerintah pusat dan pemerintah daerah melalui forum Rapat Koordinasi Teknis Perencanaan Pembangunan ini dilaksanakan untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut dalam rangka pencapaian target pembangunan nasional,” jelasnya.
