JAKARTA (tandaseru.id) – Sekretaris Jenderal (Sekjen) Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) Suhajar Diantoro mengatakan, Kemendagri bersama dengan Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) dan Badan Pengawasan Keuangan dan Pembangunan (BPKP) tengah melakukan upaya perbaikan Monitoring Center for Prevention (MCP). Perbaikan itu dilakukan dalam rangka mencegah terjadinya korupsi di tingkat pemerintah daerah (Pemda).
Hal itu disampaikan Suhajar dalam konferensi pers Rapat Koordinasi Pimpinan Kementerian/Lembaga Program Pemberantasan Korupsi Pemerintah Daerah dan Peluncuran Indikator MCP Tahun 2023, yang digelar secara hybrid dari Hotel The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Selasa (21/3/2023).
“MCP ini sangat dibutuhkan, kita bangun sistemnya, sehingga terlapor secara akurat, kapan saja mau diminta laporannya. Baik KPK dan BPKP bersama Kemendagri lalu melakukan pendampingan perbaikannya,” katanya.
Suhajar menyampaikan, dalam pembinaan dan pengawasan, Kemendagri sepakat dengan KPK untuk melakukan pencegahan-pencegahan melalui MCP. Selain itu juga melakukan pencegahan melalui pendidikan maupun pendampingan baik kepada Pemda maupun masyarakat.
“Mendidik rakyat supaya menjadi cerdas, karena di tengah rakyat yang cerdaslah akan didapat pemimpin,” ungkapnya.
Di sisi lain, Suhajar menambahkan, MCP berkaitan dengan pengawasan. Sementara itu pemerintah pusat telah menerbitkan Norma Standar Prosedur dan Kriteria (NSPK) untuk menjadi pedoman dalam pembinaan dan pengawasan urusan pemerintahan yang menjadi kewenangan daerah. Kemendagri juga mempunyai Inspektorat Jenderal (Itjen) yang berfungsi melakukan pengawasan hingga tingkat Pemda.
“Kemendagri mempunyai sayap yang disebut dengan Itjen, makanya dia berbeda dengan Itjen-nya Kemenkeu, Itjen Kemenkes. Dia mengawasi jalannya APBN, tapi Itjen Kemendagri selain mengawasi APBN di Kemendagri, di 12 komponen, dia juga melakukan pengawasan di daerah,” terangnya.
