JAKARTA (tandaseru.id) – Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) digital atau Identitas Kependudukan Digital (IKD) merupakan program Direktorat Jenderal (Ditjen) Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil (Dukcapil) Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri).
Program ini direncanakan menjadi pengganti dari adanya e-KTP, sehingga ke depan persediaan blangko e-KTP tidak akan ditambah lagi. Tidak hanya itu, IKD juga menjadi bagian dari upaya Kemendagri untuk mengatasi maraknya pemalsuan data kependudukan.
Dengan semangat tersebut, Kepala Badan Strategi Kebijakan Dalam Negeri (BSKDN) Kemendagri Yusharto Huntoyungo mengimbau kepada jajarannya untuk melakukan aktivasi KTP Digital (IKD) melalui aplikasi digital.id, dan menyebarkan informasi mengenai digitalisasi KTP tersebut hingga tingkat keluarga.
“Mohon disebarkan ke keluarga tentang adanya program digitalisasi dan mudah-mudahan sesuai dengan target sampai dengan tahun 2024, 50 persen dari seluruh e-KTP itu sudah terdigitalisasi,” ungkap Yusharto saat memberi arahan dalam acara Pelaksanaan Aktivasi IKD Bagi Seluruh Pegawai di Lingkungan BSKDN di Perpustakaan Soepardjo Roestam BSKDN, Selasa (21/3/2023).
Lebih lanjut, Yusharto menjelaskan aktivasi IKD dapat memudahkan seseorang menjalankan kehidupan sehari-hari, baik saat harus bepergian atau saat melakukan transaksi. Untuk itu, Yusharto meminta pihaknya juga turut menyukseskan program tersebut dengan melakukan aktivasi IKD.
Aktivasi IKD tersebut, lanjut Yusharto diikuti oleh 200 pegawai BSKDN. Dengan demikian, dia berharap jajarannya terhindar dari kejahatan pemalsuan data penduduk yang membawa banyak kerugian.”Pahami prosedurnya, lakukan aktivasi dan rasakan manfaatnya, jadi lebih mudah untuk mengurus masalah administrasi yang beragam dari tingkat pusat hingga tingkat daerah,” terangnya.
Dalam kesempatan itu, hadir sebagai narasumber Pranata Komputer Ahli Muda Ditjen Dukcapil Kemendagri Paturi. Dirinya mengungkapkan, e-KTP atau KTP berbentuk fisik memiliki banyak kekurangan seperti mudah rusak hingga mudah dipalsukan. Merespons hal itu, Ditjen Dukcapil Kemendagri menggantinya dengan program baru yakni IKD yang lebih mudah, aman, dan efisien.
“Pengganti KTP fisik adalah KTP Digital yang ada di handphone, sehingga ke depannya Dukcapil itu dalam genggaman. Artinya semua dokumen itu ada di handphone, mau KK (Kartu Keluarga), akta (kelahiran) semuanya ada di situ,” pungkasnya.
