KOTA MALANG (tandaseru.id) – Dalam rangka implementasi penanganan serta pencegahan tindak pidana perdagangan orang, Polresta Malang Kota resmi membentuk Satgas TPPO.
Kegiatan diawali dengan upacara pengukuhan satgas TPPO( Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang) yang diikuti oleh 60 personel.
Wakapolresta Malang Kota AKBP Apip Ginanjar memimpin upacara pengukuhan bertempat di Ballroom Sanika Satyawada Polresta Malang Kota Jl. JA. Suprapto No.19 Klojen Kota, Senin (12/6).
Hal itu dilakukan dalam rangka tindak lanjut perintah Presiden terkait penanganan serta antisipasi tindak pidana perdagangan orang.
Terdapat beberapa arahan dari Wakapolresta Malang Kota, seperti perdagangan manusia sudah seringkali disebut sebagai perbudakan modern.
Juga merupakan tindak kejahatan yang di manfaatkan oleh oknum tertentu, hal ini tentunya melanggar Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM). Sehingga dapat mempengaruhi individu serta negara.
“Hari ini Polresta Malang Kota secara resmi mengukuhkan pembentukan Satgas TPPO yang berjumlah 120 personel,” kata Wakapolresta Malang Kota.
Hal itu kata AKBP Apip tentunya merupakan wujud dari tekad dan keseriusan jajaran Polresta Malang Kota untuk mengkampanyekan perang terhadap tindak pidana perdagangan orang.
“Tindak kejahatan tersebut bersifat tersembunyi dan seringkali dikelilingi oleh ketidakpahaman mengenai aspek-aspek yang terkait,” tambah Akbp Apip.
Menurutnya para korban perdagangan orang cenderung memilih untuk tidak melaporkan tindak kejahatan tersebut.
Hal itu dikarenakan mereka menganggap diri mereka sendiri bukanlah korban.
“Mereka juga cenderung tidak memahami terkait bantuan yang tersedia dan juga hal yang menghantui ketakutannya ialah cerita yang mereka alami tersebut dapat tersebar” imbuh AKBP Apip Ginanjar
Berbagai Upaya proaktif dan kolaboratif Polresta Malang Kota dengan stakeholder terkait lainnya sangatlah penting dalam menjamin perlindungan korban perdagangan manusia, yang berorientasi pada keselamatan korban.
“Dengan mendeteksi akan tindakan kejahatan tersebut dan peningkatan kesadaran, difokuskan kepada sasaran kelompok yang rentan dan beresiko,” jelasnya.
Di Indonesia, baik yang berjenis kelamin laki-laki, perempuan bahkan yang masih berusia anak-anak masih rentan untuk masuk kedalam korban perdagangan manusia.
Hal tersebut terjadi dengan tujuan eksploitasi tenaga kerja, eksploitasi seksual, eksploitasi sebagai pengemis dan juga pelaku kriminal yang dipaksakan demi meraup keuntungan.
Anggota Satgas TPPO di setiap satuan wilayah jajaran Polda Jatim ditekankan untuk dapat melaksanakan tugas secara profesional sesuai dengan aturan yang tertuang dalam UU NO. 21 tahun 2007.
“Undang-undang tersebut berisi tentang Pemberantasan Tindak Pidana Perdagangan Orang,” pungkas Akbp Apip.
