MALANG KOTA (tandaseru.id) – Kapolresta Malang Kota Kombes Pol. Budi Hermanto, memimpin pelaksanaan Apel Gelar Pasukan dalam rangka Operasi Patuh Semeru 2023 yang diikuti oleh 100 peserta apel yang terdiri dari personel kepolisian, Pom TNI dan Dishub pada hari Senin, (10/7).
Dalam sambutannya, Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, menyampaikan dinamika operasional Kepolisian di bidang lalu lintas yang semakin berkembang dengan cepat dan dinamis. Provinsi Jawa Timur, yang merupakan salah satu provinsi terbesar di Indonesia dengan jumlah penduduk yang sangat banyak, memiliki tantangan tersendiri dalam menjaga keamanan dan keselamatan lalu lintas.
Data dari Ditlantas Polda Jawa Timur menunjukkan bahwa angka kecelakaan di wilayah tersebut mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan pada periode Januari hingga Mei.
Operasi Patuh Semeru 2023 digelar mulai 10 – 24 Juli 2023 merupakan salah satu upaya pencegahan serta penindakan pelanggaran lalulintas dalam rangka menekan angka kecelakaan yang menimbulkan fatalitas khususnya di Kota Malang.
Selama operasi ini berlangsung, penindakan terhadap pelanggaran lalu lintas menggunakan E-TLE (Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement) di wilayah Kota Malang akan menggunakan mobil INCAR ( Integrated Node Capture Attitude Record ) yang nantinya akan di tempatkan di lokasi – lokasi rawan pelanggaran lalu lintas
“Nantinya kami akan mengoptimalkan peran 2 mobil INCAR dalam rangka melakukan penindakan terhadap pelanggaran lalu lintas di Kota Malang ini ” tutur Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto”
“Tentunya kami mengimbau kepada seluruh masyarakat Kota Malang untuk senantiasa patuh dan tertib berlalu lintas, jadikan keselamatan sebagai kebutuhan karena keselamatan bagian dari kemanusiaan yang sama-sama harus kita jaga” imbuh orang nomor satu di jajaran kepolisian Kota Malang ini
Dalam operasi Patuh Semeru 2023 kali ini ada beberapa pelanggaran lalu lintas yang menjadi prioritas dalam penindakan yakni melawan arus, tidak menggunakan helm standar, pengendara di bawah umur, melanggar rambu lalulintas, mengemudi melebihi batas kecepatan, menggunakan HP saat berkendara dan tidak menggunakan sabuk pengamanan.
Selain pelanggaran yang menjadi prioritas penindakan tersebut, penggunaan knalpot bising serta balap liar juga mendapatkan atensi khusus dalam penindakan pada Operasi Patuh Semeru 2023 ini
Dalam akhir sambutannya, Kombespol Budi Hermanto, berharap agar selama pelaksanaan Operasi Patuh Semeru 2023, personel yang terlibat menjalankan tugas secara humanis dan profesional dimana Keberhasilan operasi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan keamanan dan keselamatan lalu lintas di Jawa Timur.
Operasi Patuh Semeru 2023 menjadi bukti nyata komitmen kepolisian dalam menjaga ketertiban dan keselamatan masyarakat di jalan raya. Dengan adanya operasi ini, diharapkan angka pelanggaran dan kecelakaan lalu lintas dapat berkurang sehingga masyarakat dapat merasa aman dan nyaman saat berkendara di Kota Malang.
