MALANG KOTA (tandaseru.id) – Ratusan motor berknalpot brong yang diduga akan digunakan untuk balap liar ( bali) berhasil diamankan oleh Polresta Malang Kota, Minggu dini hari (01/10).
Motor tersebut terjaring saat personel gabungan Polresta Malang Kota melakukan cipta kondisi bersama TNI, Satpol PP dan Dinas Perhubungan Kota Malang.
Kapolresta Malang Kota Kombes Pol Budi Hermanto, menjelaskan kegiatan cipta kondisi yang dilaksanakan dengan unsur TNI dan stakeholder yang ada itu adalah untuk menciptakan dan menjaga kondusifitas khususnya di wilayah hukum Polresta Malang Kota.
“Apapun yang berpotensi mengganggu ketertiban segera kita cegah, jika ada laporan atau aduan masyarakat segera kita tindaklanjuti dengan melakukan check ke lokasi dan recheck kebenarannya,” tegas Kombes Budi Hermanto, Senin (2/10).
Ia mengatakan penindakan motor berknalpot brong tidak lepas dari peran dan laporan masyarakat yang turut memantau kamtibmas di Kota Malang.
“Sebelum pelaksanaan patroli kami juga mendapat aduan dari masyarakat, kami merespons laporan masyarakat tentang penggunaan sepeda motor dengan knalpot brong yang bising,”ujar Kombes BuHer.
Dalam kegiatan cipta kondisi bersama TNI dan unsur terkait itu, Polresta Malang Kota berhasil menyita 167 unit motor dengan knalpot brong yang digunakan untuk balap liar.
“Penindakan di empat lokasi, diantaranya Jl Ciliwung, Jl Kaliurang, Araya (Jl Panji Suroso) dan Jl Besar Idjen, “terang Kombes Pol BuHer.
Ia menyebut para joki atau pelaku aksi balap liar itu rata-rata diusia produktif, paling muda berusia sekitar 18 tahun.
Sedangkan pelaku atau pemilik kendaraan tidak hanya dari Malang Raya saja, tapi ada kendaraan dari luar Kota Malang.
“Pelaku balap liar rata-rata masih diusia produktif, beberapa di antara pelaku tidak memiliki Surat Izin Mengemudi (SIM), dan berasal dari wilayah Malang Raya dan Luar Kota Malang,”jelas Kombes BuHer.
Kapolresta Malang Kota Buher menambahkan pihaknya akan terus melakukan patroli rutin setiap saat.
Ia juga mengatakan kendaraan saat ini diamankan di Polresta Malang Kota selama 30 hari (bagi pelanggar yang mengikuti sidang dan membayar denda di Kejaksaan Negri Kota Malang hingga tanggal 26 Oktober).
Sementara pemilik atau pelanggar yang sudah melakukan pelanggaran berulang akan diberi sansi penahanan kendaraan selama dua bulan dari penindakan.
“Syarat pengambilan bagi pemilik motor bisa mengambil motornya dengan membawa surat-surat kendaraan dan mengganti knalpot standart aslinya (standart pabrik),” pungkas Kombes BuHer.
