SERANG (tandaseru) – Polda Banten bersama Polres Serang Kota melakukan pemeriksaan barang bawaan peserta aksi unjuk rasa dari Persatuan Banten Melawan (PBM) terkait pengesahan UU Omnibus Law, Selasa (13/10).
Pemeriksaan barang bawaan dalam rangka untuk pengamanan bukanlah pengadangan atau upaya mempersulit masa yang akan menyampaikan aspirasi.
Kapolda Banten Irjen Pol Fiandar melalui Kabid Humas Polda Banten Kombes Pol Edy Sumardi menyampaikan pendapat di muka umum dilindungi undang-undang maka kami melakukan pengamanan sebagai upaya memberikan jaminan rasa aman dan nyaman kepada massa.
“Kami melakukan pemeriksaan barang bawaan masa aksi unjuk rasa bertujuan untuk memastikan aksi massa tidak membawa barang berbahaya atau barang yang dilarang oleh hukum,” ujar Edy Sumardi.
Dia menyampaikan menjaga keamanan supaya tidak ingin aksi damai disusupi oleh orang yang tidak bertanggung jawab dengan membawa barang berbahaya atau memiliki tujuan untuk mengacau,
“Alhamdulillah untuk pemeriksaan hari ini tidak ditemukan barang bawaan masa aksi unjuk rasa yang berbahaya, ” Ujar edy sumardi.
Edy Sumardi menyampaikan Polri bersama-sama dengan pihak TNI memberikan pelayanan dengan melaksanakan pengamanan serta selalu memberikan himbauan kepada masa unjuk rasa untuk selalu menerapkan protokol kesehatan
“Kami mengimbau kepada para masa unjuk rasa untuk memahami arti pasal-pasal yang ada di undang-undang cipta kerja yang selama ini banyak beredar isu hoax, kita harus menelaah setiap pasal-pasal yang diragukan atau sudah dibahas dengan kita yakin bahwa apa yang pemerintah lakukan tujuannya adalah untuk memperbaiki ekonomi kita dan kita jaga bersama-sama,” tutup Edy Sumardi.
