SEOUL (tandaseru) – Kementerian Pertanahan, Infrastruktur, dan Transportasi (MOLIT) Korea Selatan telah menandatangani perjanjian dengan European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) untuk mendukung produksi helikopter utilitas ringan H155 (EC155 B1) Airbus Helicopters Korea Selatan.
Dalam siaran persnya pada 18 September 2020, kesepakatan baru tersebut berupa relokasi jalur produksi H155 Airbus dari Marseille, Prancis ke sebuah fasilitas di Sacheon tahun 2021
Nantinya, Airbus Helicopters dan Korea Aerospace Industries akan berkolaborasi dalam produksi helikopter H155 di Korea Selatan, yang menjadi desain dasar Light Attack Helicopter Korea Selatan.
Janes Derfence sebelumnya telah melaporkan bahwa Airbus Helicopters berencana untuk memindahkan jalur perakitan H155 ke Korea Selatan dengan produksi dalam negeri akan berjalan hingga tahun 2050.
