JAKARTA (tandaseru.id) – Salwa Rafidatun Nabila menjadi salah satu pemain yang dipanggil pelatih Rudy Eka Priyambada pada seleksi dan pemusatan latihan (TC) Tim Nasional Wanita di Jakarta.
Pemain yang akrab disapa Salwa ini tidak pernah menyangka kecintaannya terhadap dunia sepak bola, ternyata berhasil membawanya terbang dari kampung halaman ke Jakarta demi mengikuti rangkaian seleksi.
Salwa memang menarik perhatian karena dirinya menjadi pemain termuda yang ikut pada seleksi Timnas wanita saat ini. Pemain yang berposisi sebagai penjaga gawang ini memang bersaing dengan beberapa nama yang tidak asing dibawah mistar gawang skuat Garuda Pertiwi.
Dia harus bersaing dengan penjaga gawang Timnas Norffince Boma, serta dua penjaga gawang lainnya yang juga pernah mengikuti Timnas Putri U-16, Adinda Citra dan Fani. Salwa yang masih berusia 15 tahun ini merasa bersyukur karena mendapat kesempatan untuk merasakan atmosfer seleksi dan TC hingga level Tim Nasional.
“Waktu saya dapat kabar dipanggil untuk seleksi dan ikut TC, saya dan orang tua sangat kaget karena dapat kesempatan ikut seleksi ke Jakarta. Sampai sekarang rasanya masih campur aduk antara gugup, takut dan senang sekaligus bangga karena bisa dipanggil ikut seleksi ini,” ungkap Salwa.
Pemain yang kini duduk di bangku kelas 8 SMP Negeri 1 Kretek, Bantul ini mengaku baru satu tahun terakhir menekuni sepak bola. Itu pun berawal dari kompetisi internal di sekolah yang memainkan anak-anak perempuan dalam kompetisi mini sepak bola.
“Awal saya bermain sepakbola saat saya masih kelas 7, tepatnya saat pertandingan kecil antar kelas. Di kompetisi itu sebenarnya saya menjadi pemain depan, tetapi pelatih saya di sekolah mengarahkan saya jadi kiper. Sempat tidak mau, tapi saya coba untuk jadi kiper dan kebawa sampai sekarang, saya pun latihan di klub Protaba Bantul dengan posisi yang sama hingga saat ini” lanjut Salwa.
Ada hal menarik ketika Salwa tiba di Jakarta untuk mengikuti seleksi dan pemusatan latihan Timnas Wanita. Anak ketiga dari tiga bersaudara ini bertemu dengan pemain sepakbola wanita idolanya yakni Zahra Muzdalifah.
“Masuk dalam seleksi sudah luar biasa bersyukur karena mendapat ilmu baru dari pelatih yang ada. Masuk TC ini juga ada pemain idola saya kak Zahra Muzdalifah. Masih tidak menyangka bisa latihan bersama” ujar Salwa seperti dikutip dari laman PSSI.
Mendapat suntikan motivasi dengan berlatih dengan sang idola, Salwa pun berkomitmen untuk menjalani latihan bersama tim yang sedianya diproyeksikan untuk SEA Games 2021 di Vietnam ini.
“Ini kesempatan langka bagi saya untuk berlatih bersama pelatih dan kakak-kakak senior. Awalnya saya masih malu-malu, tetapi alhamdulillah bisa beradaptasi dengan cepat dengan semuanya. Saya akan latihan dengan sungguh-sungguh dan fokus selama seleksi ini” tutup Salwa.
Sebelumya pelaksanaan TC untuk timnas Wanita diapresiasi oleh Ketua Umum PSSI, Mochamad Iriawan. Ia menyebut ini adalah momentum yang baik. Apalagi timnas wanita satu tahun lebih belum ada kegiatan karena pandemi Covid-19.
“Alhamdulillah TC untuk timnas wanita bisa digelar di awal tahun ini. Saya berharap para pemain bekerja keras, disiplin dan berlatih secara maksimal di TC ini,” kata Iriawan.
Iriawan pun mengingatkan untuk tetap menjalankan protokol kesehatan ketat bagi semua pihak yang menjadi TC ini.
“Kesehatan dan kedisiplinan menjadi hal terpenting saat penyelenggaraan TC di tengah pandemi. Mari kita sama-sama disiplin, baik saat latihan maupun menerapkan protokol kesehatan untuk keselamatan kita bersama” tambah pria yang akrap disapa Iwan Bule tersebut.
