JAKARTA (!) – Polisi terpaksa melepaskan timah panas ke pelaku pembunuhan remaja perempuan di Cengkareng, Jakarta Barat, karena melawan saat hendak ditangkap. Pelaku tewas ditembak Selasa (13/6) dini hari.
Polisi menyergap pelaku berinisial W di persembunyiannya di Pinang, Kota Tangerang. Hendak melawan saat ditangkap membuat polisi tidak segan melepaskan timah panas ke tubuh pelaku.
Wakapolda Metro Jaya Brigjen Suntana mengkomfirmasi hal tersebut. Menurutnya, tindakan polisi tidak ada yang menyalahi aturan. Polisi bisa melepas tembakan apabila pelaku melawan.
“Saat penindakan, dia (W) melawan dengan senjata api, polisi punya langkah untuk melakukan tindakan tegas,” ujar Suntana saat dikonfirmasi, Selasa (13/6).
Suntana yakin, polisi tidak gegabah saat memutuskan untuk menembak pelaku. Menurutnya, polisi sudah tepat mengidentifikasi W sebagai pelaku pembunuhan sekaligus pemerkosaan tersebut. Pasalnya, penyelidikan yang telah dilakukan dan bukti yang ada mengarahkan kepada dirinya. “Ada saksi-saksi sudah mendukung, ada bukti scientific yang bersangkutan,” imbuh Suntana.
Sebelumnya diberitakan, terjadi pembunuhan terhadap remaja perempuan berinisial A (15). Korban ditemukan tewas dengan keadaan kaki dan leher terikat di kamarnya, pada Sabtu (3/6) lalu.
Pelaku diduga tidak hanya membunuh, juga memperkosa korban. Adapun motif pelaku tidak diketahui. Berdasarkan informasi yang dihimpun, pelaku merupakan teman daripada Ayah korban. (ahda)
