YOGYAKARTA (!) – Ketua Umum Partai Demokrat, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), melantik sejumlah pengurus DPD Demokrat Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) di Jogja Expo Center, Senin (9/4). Dalam kesempatan itu, SBY meminta para kader tak melakukan aksi politik jahat.
“Saya akan dedikasikan waktu, tenaga, dan pikiran. Bukan politik jahat, yang menghalalkan segala cara, menggunakan uang, dan kampanye hitam. Kita punya prinsip berpolitik yang baik, seperti yang dulu kita terapkan selama 10 tahun memerintah,” kata SBY.
Menurut SBY, jabatan adalah amanah, tanggung jawab, dan sekaligus ibadah. Setiap pemimpin, baik di tingkat pusat maupun daerah, mesti mempertanggungjawabkan semua kepercayaan yang telah diamanahkan untuk diemban.
“Pemimpin itu juga harus berdiri di depan, memberi contoh, dan bisa bekerja bersama-sama dengan kader. Kader pun begitu juga, mesti menghormati pimpinan dan loyal terhadap segala arahan,” pinta SBY.
SBY mengatakan, dalam lawatannya di Jawa Timur, Jawa Tengah, Yogyakarta, dan sebelumnya di Jawa Barat, ia menyimpulkan banyak masalah yang tengah didera masyarakat. Terutama menyangkut persoalan ekonomi.
“Kita semua tahu, rakyat golongan bawah sedang kesulitan ekonomi. Mungkin sebagian kader di sini juga mengalami hal yang sama. Karena itu mari berusaha, jika kita kembali ke pemerintahan nanti, kita akan kembali menjalankan program-program pro-rakyat, agar masyarakat bisa hidup sejahtera,” harapnya.
Selama setahun ke depan, SBY mengatakan ia akan semakin sering turun ke daerah-daerah. Tujuannya selain mendengar aspirasi rakyat juga untuk menyemangati para kader dan mengajak mereka untuk berpolitik secara santun.
Pada pelantikan pengurus DPD Demokrat DIY itu, hadir juga Ani Yudhoyono, Sekretaris Demokrat, Hinca Pandjaitan, Komandan Komando Tugas Bersama (Kogasma), Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), Ketua Fraksi Demokrat di DPR, Edhi Baskoro Yudhoyono (Ibas), dan sejumlah anggota DPR dan ketua DPP Demokrat.
Selain melantik Heri Sebayang sebagai ketua DPD DIY, SBY juga mengukuhkan kepengurusan DPC Demokrat di lima kabupaten/kota di DIY. Mereka yang dilantik adalah Nur Rahmat sebagai ketua DPC Kabupaten Bantul, Syamsul Hadi di Kota Yogyakarta, Sukriani Astuti di Kabupaten Gunung Kidul, Sugianto di Kabupaten Kulon Progo, dan Sarjono di Kabupaten Sleman.
