JAKARTA (Tandaseru) – Ketua DPR RI Puan Maharani mengingatkan Covid-19 akan muncul jadi klaster baru bila rangkaian penyelenggaraan Pilkada Serentak 2020 mengabaikan pelaksanaan protokol kesehatan terkait Covid-19.
“Semua wajib melaksanakan protokol Covid-19 untuk menyukseskan Pilkada 2020,” kata Puan dalam keterangannya, Selasa (15/9).
Puan meminta seluruh bakal pasangan calon kepala dan wakil kepala daerah menerapkan protokol kesehatan terkait Covid-19 yang ketat pada seluruh tahapan Pilkada Serentak 2020. Puan menyatakan seluruh pasangan calon kepala daerah dan wakil kepala daerah harus kreatif dalam melaksanakan kampanye demi menghindari kegiatan yang mengumpulkan massa dalam satu lokasi.
“Kampanye Pilkada harus semakin kreatif, agar visi dan misi calon tetap tersampaikan ke masyarakat dan protokol cegah Covid-19 harus tetap terjaga. Batasi pertemuan-pertemuan yang berkerumun,” ujar Ketua DPP PDI Perjuangan bidang Politik itu.
Puan juga meminta seluruh pasangan calon kepala dan wakil kepala daerah bersama para pendukungnya dan masyarakat saling mengingatkan penerapan protokol kesehatan Covid-19 pada masa kampanye Pilkada Serentak 2020.
Menurutnya, semua aktivitas kampanye harus dilakukan dengan mengenakan masker, sering cuci tangan, dan menjaga jarak fisik. Puan pun berkata protokol Covid-19 harus diperketat agar Pilkada Serentak 2020 berjalan sukses serta lancar.
