JAKARTA (tandaseru) – Polisi bersama pihak Lapas Klas I Tangerang hingga kini masih memburu Cai Changpan alias Cai Ji Fan, narapidana (napi) yang kabur beberapa waktu lalu. Sang napi diduga bersembunyi di sebuah hutan di kawasan Tenjo, Bogor.
Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Yusri Yunus mengungkapkan pihaknya kini memperluas kawasan dalam pencarian sang napi. Hal ini untuk memperkecil ruang gerak Cai untuk kabur lebih jauh.
“Kita sekarang memperluas lagi pencarian jejak ini di daerah Desa Babakan, pertama Desa Babakan, kemudian Pasir Madang, dan juga daerah Pasar Rebo. Jadi kita perluas tim ke sana untuk melakukan pengejaran terhadap yang bersangkutan,” kata Yusri kepada wartawan di Polda Metro Jaya, Jakarta, Sabtu (3/10).
Selain itu, kata Yusri, pihaknya juga dibantu oleh Satuan Brimob Polda Metro Jaya untuk mencari terpidana mati kasus narkoba tersebut. Pasalnya, hutan di kawasan Tenjo, Bogor tersebut cukup luas hingga tujuh kelurahan.
“Makanya kita perluas pencarian dengan di backup dengan teman-teman dari Brimob Polda Metro Jaya,” jelasnya.
Diketahui, Cai Ji Fan narapidana asal China di Lembaga Permasyarakatan (Lapas) Klas 1 Tangerang melarikan diri melalui gorong-gorong yang dibuatnya selama enam bulan, pada Senin (14/9).
Belakangan diketahui bahwa Cai Ji Fan menggali gorong-gorong tersebut dengan menggunakan alat perkakas bangunan seperti sekop, obeng hingga pompa air.
Selain itu, pemeriksaan saksi yang ada, ternyata terpidana itu sempat membeli rokok di sekitar lapas dan pulang ke rumahnya setelah kabur. Saat ini, polisi dan pihak lapas sudah berkoordinasi dengan Ditjen Imigrasi Kemenkumham RI untuk mencegah Cai ke luar negeri.
Selain itu, juga telah berkoordinasi dengan Disdukcapil untuk memblokir KTP yang bersangkutan. Sebab, pria asal China itu diketahui telah berpindah kewarganegaraan Indonesia dan memiliki e-KTP.
