JAKARTA (tandaseru.id) – Tim kuasa hukum dr. Richard Lee mengklaim polisi sudah mengabulkan permohonan penangguhan penahanan terhadap kliennya. Saat ini, Richard diklaim sudah tidak di tahan di Polda Metro Jaya.
“(Penangguhan penahanan) sudah diajukan dan dikabulkan,” kata pengacara Richard Lee, Razman Arif Nasution saat dihubungi wartawan, Rabu (29/12).
Razman menyebut Richard kini sudah bebas dan tidak ditahan di Rutan Polda Metro Jaya. Dia juga menyebut dirinya lah yang menjemput langsung Richard.
“Iya saya yang jemput,” beber Razman.
Diketahui, dr. Richard Lee mulai menjalani penahanan sementara di Rutan Polda Metro Jaya terkait kasus illegal akses yang menjeratnya mulai Senin (27/12) malam.
“Iya mulai malam ini dilakukan penahanan. Besok kita sampaikan detailnya,” ungkap Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Metro Jaya kepada Kombes Pol Endra Zulpan, dalam keterangannya, Senin (27/12).
Sementara itu, pengacara Richard Lee, Razman Arif Nasution menyebut penahanan terhadap kliennya itu dilakukan oleh pihak kejaksaan karena berkas kasus tersebut dinyatakan lengkap (P21).
Sesuai prosedur, selama 20 hari ke depan Richard Lee akan ditahan sementara di Rutan Polda Metro Jaya.
Razman memastikan penahanan sementara Richard Lee telah sesuai prosedur. Dia membantah kliennya ditahan akibat sikap tidak kooperatif.
“Bukan ditahan ini diluruskan ya, tapi pelimpahan berkas. Jadi kejaksaan untuk P21 tahap 2, nah itu memang prosedurnya seperti itu (penahanan sementara),” terang Razman.
Richard Lee ditangkap polisi pada Rabu (11/8) di kediamannya di daerah Palembang. Polisi menangkap dr Richard Lee atas perbuatan illegal access dan penghilangan barang bukti.
Barang bukti tersebut berupa akun Instagram dr Richard Lee yang disita penyidik di kasus dugaan pencemaran nama baik yang dilaporkan oleh Kartika Putri. Richard Lee disebut telah mengakses akunnya yang disita penyidik tanpa izin ke penyidik.
Richard Lee ditetapkan sebagai tersangka pelanggaran tindak pidana Pasal 30 jo Pasal 46 UU ITE tentang illegal access dan/atau Pasal 231 KUHP dan/atau Pasal 221 KUHP tentang menghilangkan barang bukti. Dia terancam 8 tahun hukuman penjara.
